I earned my undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Public Administration, minoring in Sociology at CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice. My extra-curricular activities included Women’s CUNYAC/NCAA Division III Swimming and The Theatrical Players.
I earned my graduate Master of Arts in Sociology and Social Science Research from CUNY Queens College. My independent research for my thesis included both qualitative and quantitative research on attitudes of law enforcement personnel regarding career advancement within the police department.
I earned my graduate Master of Social Work in Clinical Social Work from the prestigious New York University. My research and POPS (The Planning, Organization, and Provision of Services) Project focused on providing psychoeducation as a clinical intervention in group and individual services to patients with serious and persistent affective (mood) disorders.
I earned my certificate in clinical supervision upon completion of the Seminar in Field Instruction at Adelphi University.
